PCGS Certifies 1776 Continental Dollar... Bought for 50 Cents

    My favorite "lost find" was from a dealer friend who, as a kid, noticed the 1955 cent he was given in change looked "doubled". The merchant told him they probably all looked like that in that year, so he didn't save it. He now fantasizes that there was a complete roll in the cash register he could have had for $0.50!

    The most interesting to me off the top of my head is the Stella that's sitting in a landfill somewhere that may or may not ever get found
