Paying a premium...

Not that you guys can guess, but Mercs! I don't know if it's a subconscious habit, but I always tell myself to buy one whenever I go to the coin shop. I remember one time when I spent most of my weeks earnings to purchase the 1921 in fine condition for only $110. Yeah, that went over well with Mom.

I seem to be drawn to Indian Head cents. I sometimes get carried away with one with great eye appeal.

For me, 1877 Indian Head cent.

 

1914-S wheat cents, I'll pay a little exta for them. 1st, I dn't plan on selling them. 2nd, its just a gut feeling that grades XF and higher are gonna sky rocket in the near future. If I'm wrong no big deal I still have some great coins...
