Passing Interest In Early Slab.... Well Sorta..

    I just received an older ancient coin in a very soft 3x3 flip. When I open it up and smell, it DOES smell like a shower curtain.

    Surprisingly or maybe not because most people don't care about history...

    There are almost always a few listed on fleaBay each month.

    They sell most constantly if they're listed for a few dollars more than the value of the coin (backing off 1 grade).

    So a 64/65 1883O like the one out there - where full retail is $58 - would probably sell if listed for $65 or even 70. At $90 it will sit a while.

    I carried the thing outside and smelled it. I hope my neighbors weren’t watching..... Absolutely no scent whatsoever.... And I do know that old shower curtain smell you are talking about.
