2019 was a good year for me personally. First of all, it was my first full year as a collector of Roman coins. Secondly, it was also the year that I became a member of this great forum. For me personally this second one was very important because I was in danger of losing the pleasure of collecting because I didn't know anyone who also collected ancients. I want to thank everyone for the nice reactions that have increased my pleasure in collecting Roman coins.

Now that the year is almost over, I also want to show my top 10 of 2019. Maybe not so spectacular as that of most other members, but I hope you enjoy it!

The Photos are sometimes rather badly because I only use dealer photos. A good intention of mine for 2020 is to learn how to photograph coins;)

P.M., Nice variety on your acquisitions :D! The Domitian denarius with the lovely toning is my favorite, followed by #2 the Vespasian denarius, & 3rd place goes to #10 with the handsome portrait of Postumus ;).

I like number 8 especially, though all of them are nice coins. Don't see dupondii of Severus very often. Also, Happy New Year to you and all Cointalk members.

Very nice new additions for you this year. I especially like #4, the Trajan sestertius. At 33mm and 26g, that must be a very impressive piece in hand. I also really like the early portrait of Vespasian on coin #2. Happy New Year to you!

The coins are spectaculair! No worry about that. More importantly, you found enjoyment again! My favorites are 5, 2 and 1. For your first year, great coins, this promises a lot for your second year.

Congrats on a wonderful first year! I love your #1, the toning is luscious and that's a great portrait. I also like middle bronzes so your #3 would be my second favourite. But they're all great coins!

You had a good year! Your #1 is a good choice. My favorites are holding scales:
    10. Postumus Antoninianus / Moneta holding scales
    6. Hadrian Denarius / Aequitas with scales
You can see a scale on both sides of this brockage.

All great coins - I especially like the dupondius of Septimius as I don't see these very often (and wouldn't mind having one). I also picked #2 and #10 as my top three. Congrats on first full year - and best wishes for 2020.

Excellent list, I like everything on it. I’m especially fond of the Trajan Dacia reverse and think yours is a great example. The early portrait Vespasian is very attractive as well. My other vote went to the Sep Sev dupondius. Have a great 2020!

Thank you all for the nice comments.

It is nice to see that some coins that I did not expect to receive votes did receive votes, and coins that I expected to receive votes did not receive votes.
    This way it remains surprising:)

@Shea19 it is indeed a great coin in hand. I now have two Sestertii of which this one is by far the best to hold in your hand.
