The head of Liberty looks way too fake for me. It's worth melt of whatever metal it's actually made out of.
I weighed it. 4.1 grams/.14 oz. A complete one would be 6.25 grams/.22 oz. So the part that I have weighs 65.6% of the whole. If the missing piece were 1/4 of the coin, it should weigh 4.6875 grams. The missing piece is a little less than 1/4 of the coin. I wouldn't say that the weight confirms that it is not 90% silver & 10% copper. The edge is still reeded in places. However, I agree. It doesn't look right.
Found on the ground & cleaned is a possibility. My father in law liked to play around with metal detectors.
