This small issue is tetradrachm obverse die linked to the previous seated Roma. The first magistrate Kointos is in the Greek rendered form of the Roman name Quintus. Kointos appears again on a post-Sullan coin. The last pro-Roman coin before the Sullan siege of Athens. This type is drachm die- linked to the next (pro Mithridates) Griffin coin of Apellicon. Why is Roma being crowned-a reference to the social war, some victory in Macedonia over the Celts...who knows!
