Post images of the stars you find...also the notes signed with "Vinson" usually the Series xxxxB" are very nice notes as well.. Do not wonder why some notes are there...just know that your Dad had an interest in them...it could be to complete a set, or the specific series may have been important to him. Look them over really good and if you have questions..post them..we will help all we can. RickieB
The other star notes and an error cut. What are the star notes worth, generally? Here is a Vinson, but it is not a B series. And here is the one that the signature and serial seem to crash. Oh, and there is one note where the serial number is crashing into the signature. Is that why that bill is significant?
From the last group the $10 and error are nice! The $10 looks like around $40 - a little off center which will hurt the value a little but otherwise it looks nice. The error - just depends on the buyer - a normal note in that condition/date/reserve is at about $7 so figure the price goes up from there. Your dad did seem to get his hands on some nice looking notes! Best Regards ~ Darryl
that note is very nice but not be worth having graded. from the picture it is hard to tell the condition of the whole bill. you might not get what you invested in getting it graded as an additional premium then just the way it is. there was over 16,000,000 of those notes printed. so it is far from rare. it books for $25 in CHCU. being a repeater and a birth year adds some value so i would say sell as is. that is a very nice collection that your father had left you. thats what i would like to do for my kids(when i have some)
