Heritage ?&nbsp; Private seller ? -- and then it was gone. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie10" alt=":oops:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>So I had been looking at THIS bill for over a year -- but it was way more than any other price I had paid for any other bill.&nbsp; Quite frankly, the type of $$$ I was planning on spending only at FUN, if that.&nbsp; Only time I have paid more $$$ for a bill or coin is when I bought my Saint-Gaudens coins.<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie100" alt=":wideyed:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p><u>So I originally passed on the bill....then asked the seller if he had any flexibility...still didn&#039;t have enough $$$ to buy it....then someone bought it...but then they switched/reneged on the deal and bought something else from the seller.</u></p><p><br /></p><p>Finally, after realizing that <b>I was NOT seeing lots of other PMG 65 or greater Hawaii bills with low SN&#039;s </b>(I was seeing low SN&#039;s but much lower quality) and realizing that even if there was a PMG 65 or higher with a 2-digit SN it would probably cost 3-5X what I paid for this (and I wasn&#039;t selling a kidney to get one !<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />)...<b><i>I said, screw it, I&#039;m gonna ante up.</i></b></p><p><b><i><br /></i></b></p><p>It&#039;s a very nice bill and the reason I bought it was the only ones that I have on my Wishlist that will cost more are a $500 and $1,000 bills.&nbsp; But those will be more than this one in Gem Quality, forgetting about LGS or low SN or any other distinguishing trait.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><span style="color: #ff0000">But $500 and $1,000 bills are VERY PLENTIFUL whereas a PMG 67 + Pretty Low SN is rare.</span></b>&nbsp; I see quality, I see low SN&#039;s...but I wasn&#039;t seeing both in the Hawaii bills (or North Africa or other special bills).&nbsp; Sometimes 2 traits (one of them low SN) are tough to find and/or if you do find it it&#039;s going to be super super-pricey.&nbsp; Maybe I&#039;m looking in the wrong place or not looking hard enough (this is a hobby for me, not a 9-5 job<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />.</p><p><br /></p><p>Anyway, I won&#039;t have to post in the &quot;ONES THAT GOT AWAY&quot; thread on CT about this billl.&nbsp; It&#039;s mine, hopefully it holds it value or I at least enjoy it.<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1033701[/ATTACH]</p><p>[ATTACH=full]1033702[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
