The <b>official</b>&nbsp; Gilbert notes are series 1963 Philadelphia District one dollar bills&nbsp; with a serial number range between C60800001A thru C61440000A (640,000&nbsp; notes, 20,000 sheets). The Gilbert Paper Company supplied <b>WAY MORE</b> than this total. I have obtained copies of the original contract&nbsp; between the BEP and the Gilbert Paper Company from the BEP&#039;s Historical&nbsp; Resource Center through the Freedom of Information Act. The contract ran&nbsp; from July of 1964 through June of 1965. Some series 1963A one dollar&nbsp; bills were being printed as early as April 1965. I&#039;m trying to get&nbsp; detailed records from the BEP through the National Archives in College&nbsp; Park Maryland.
