They talked a little about the N. Africa notes towards the end, however the one thing that made no since was soldiers not exchanging them when they returned home, but rather painting over or removing the yellow seal, and printing a blue seal on top? ummm if you can exchange for regular blue seals for free, I don't see any advantage to altering them unless your the enemy... Also if you wanted to keep them, and obviously many did (Thank you guys! I have a few myself) you would just mail home as keepers. </p><p>Someone needs to check that data...</p><p>I see a bright future for these notes, cause many are being horded like nothing else especially to WWII collectors! They sale like hotcakes on eBay, and in a lot of case way above their value! It's the M1 Garand of money <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />, and baby I own a couple Garands and if you guys never shot one, you don't know what your missing!!!!!!!! One of the best damn rifles ever made! I don't care how you feel about guns, love them or hate them - that gun will have you signing up for a NRA life membership after one 8 round clip...
