Sorry, that was a little tongue in cheek, sourced in spirit from the lunch table scene in Uncle Buck... which strangely doesn't seem readily available on YouTube. The gist was yours was clearly nicer, making the concept of a trade somewhat laughable... that Jackass note is a keeper.
I am having some technical problems with uploading a picture. I will try again. Looks like my android 2.3.3(gingerbread) can not handle manage attachments page. But clicking the picture icon on quick reply works.
In yesterday's mail was two Series 1999 $1 Federal Reserve "Millenium Notes" with matching serial numbers.
Got me a birthday note... from 1776. Had a previous VA from 1776 (Trying to get one from each original colony, 7 down, six to go...) but this one is dated on my birthday, so... had to have it.
Arrived today, 1917 $1 Legal Tender Arrived 2 weeks ago.....I'm not real happy with this one, and it is posted in the "For Sale" forum.
Love the history behind these MEC, but don't have one yet for my collection. I've been concentrating on NJ obsoletes though i do want to pick up a Jersey colonial. Do you have one from NJ...if so could you post a pic? Thanks. Bruce
That looks identical to the matching pair I just got... except, mine are 1963A.....with a different serial, and 2 different districts....printed elsewhere......other than those things and 4 or 5 others, identical
Bruce - New Jersey is one of the easiest to collect - alot of issues very available in good condition at attractive prices. Here is my New Jersey 1776... And Back Not all colonials had printed backs, this one and most later NJ did.
Have a wad of new notes coming in, still scanning last weeks pickups, here's my first Greek note, have a couple more on the way, simply love this design. Will eventually upgrade this to a high VF but for now a nicely toned F at a sweet low price will do.
Just finished scanning in these new pickups, I love the lime green seals, got these all last week and just scanned and uploaded them. Missed another 10 by 25 cents, dang it, wasn't here when the auction ended so I couldn't adjust my bid... oh well.
Well, I got a whole bunch in today. Will start with two cool Greek notes at a seriously awesome price... very happy with this purchase and the notes quality. I told you I was gonna whip this threads ass...
