As much as I hate the fees that are added on by Heritage I did purchase these two fractional notes as they have been hard to find through my usual sources. I am down to finding just five more notes to complete a set of every denomination from the five issues of fractional currency. The second and fourth issue are complete. Back to Heritage, they charged sales tax on the credit card fee.

N No worries anytime Paul I have nothing but praise for TECC.... I've have done quite a bit of business with them...and never had any issues at all... Dani is a wonderful person to deal with, and thier customer service is outstanding! I get two day service from their location to my residence. And I must admit one of the sellers whom I've picked quite often....and have benefited quite well...by doing so. Stu has a nice inventory too....his pricing isn't as low as tecc.
I highly agree! My notes are sleeved and kept in currency storage boxes: https://www.coinsupplyexpress.com/Currency-Storage-Boxes.html
I've always like Red seals.... this one looked pretty sweet. It was... Another purchase from TECC of Stow Oh. They always have a great selection...they just uploaded about 30 new bust halves... There's a 1824 with double profile and toned ... Looks very close to one I had years ago..and sold unfortunately...ugh... Once having a collection of over 40 busties now down to 3 .As ...I like collecting seated coinage. Yet never turn down a glimpse of bust halves. ... another series with unique varieties found. And now enjoying paper..... as you can see.
Beautiful 1917 LT red seal! I really like the grades VF30 EPQ to EF 45 EPQ notes. They're generally priced right & when they have the eye appeal like yours, they're a note one can be proud to own & show off any time.
Thanks I appreciate your feed back. I had several to choose from all near the same price point. This one caught my eye. And may be a tad under graded...nevertheless i think she's a keeper... thanks again
@Paddy54 I took your advice and checked out one of the recommendations you gave me. I am quite pleased with my purchase.
As Well you should Paul...that's beautiful! The paper quality is unreal! Good eye on that pick...I had a $20 gold note years ago...wished I never let her go..hard to replace a nice specimen. As far as it's source...I'm so pleased doing business with... TECC is tops in my book....and very happy to hear that they served you well.
