Thanks - this time a wavy one from much further south.

I bought and sold this one recently. Made a pretty significant profit, which was parlayed into a rare Florida NBN.

Top note was purchased while bottom note was found in the wild (excuse me if I posted these previously).

Picked up another note from this elusive Northeast Florida charter. Based on what little I could find concerning sales figures, Type 2 $10s are incredibly uncommon. According to a 2016 listing from Heritage Auctions, there are only two Type 2 $10 reported for this charter. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (I don't have access to census information).

Well the bills are different years and different letters.
You could get the same serial number, same year, from a different fed reserve branch.

Honestly nice but that would never beat my number 47 $20 bill but that's a cool lot of zeros man

Yes very nice on the $500.
When I went to my old brick and mortar coin guy (many years ago more than 10)
and I asked him about big bills (as he had a large display case of bills, I picked up a really nice $10 national for only $15 and a 1921 $10 gold certificate) he said all the big bills are on EBay. One day I go to the shop and it's empty, he was gone. I had been going there for many years and he was there forever. The online game drove him out. I assume he sold his stock to one of the other coin stores in town.

I can't find the thread with the "Almost Fancy" serial numbers. The search box here
is not the best. I thought this one was really close to being a monster. ladder.png

Hey! That's a keeper. Don't spend that one. ;). I'm sure someone on Ebay would pay a premium!! :)

I don't sell on Ebay. But this was a heart breaker. 86 notes before this one was
12345678. GF says, and the person who gets it probably won't even know it.
And I said yes most likely.

Bought this one from eBay a few days ago. The seller had some of the worst photos I've ever seen for an eBay listing. Sold it a few minutes ago for a decent profit.

I think that 6 looks better than the 12.
Are there detailed grades for notes? Because while the 1914 $20 note is awesome, I would give it a details grade.

Hey guys... nice to see you all again. I haven't been around for more than a decade. I'm getting into collecting again. Here is my first new pickup in a LONG time. 5 Yuan Bank of Communications from China.

Where did MEC2 go? I used to log in just to see what he had posted.

Received today -- modest acquisition compared to others, but I'm happy to have these Ladder Notes:
