Nice Spanish notes! Those are some of my favorite. Today's new pickup is this 1929 Poland 50 Zlotych. Obverse features a farmer lady on the left and a Mercury on the right. Reverse shows what I assume are important buildings in Poland, perhaps the seat of government or something.
1941 (Year 30) China Bank of Communications 10 Yuan. This is in pretty rough condition but it basically came free with another note. The Bank of Communications featured some superb engravings from ABNC. Obverse features a Gothic-style building with central clock tower. Reverse is a nice shipping port scene. A bit hard to see in this example, but trust me - it's a nice engraving!
1938 (Year 27) Federal Reserve Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) 100 Yuan I got this because I was a fan of the upper left dragon image. The guy on the right is the first emperor of China, Qin Shihuang. Reverse just seems odd, which is why I call this the Chinese Funnyback.
It's interesting to track the decline in artwork quality in Russian notes from the end of the Imperial era to the beginning of the Communist period!
