A 1976 Series Two US Dollar Uncut Sheet of 4-CLEVELAND DISTRICT. A very rare FANCY NUMBER D 01119111* < Uncut Sheet of 4.
I just picked these up at the bank today. My first 2009 stars!! I was able to acquire 2 sequential $20's from Cleveland and a $1 from New York. For some reason my scanner lobbed off the tops, but they're pretty evenly centered (for the most part). Also got this 1934A $20 for face as well. Not really worth anything over face, but nice to have.
I've found the market a little soft on these recently. One sold in January 2011 for $299 (64EPQ PMG) at the Heritage auction at FUN in Tampa........still a wonderful example that I would be proud to own.
Well I haven't posted many finds recently, but I went to the bank to BS with a couple tellers I used to work with and presto They probably aren't worth anything, but I like them! Hopefully they are worth a few bucks over face at least.
I bought this one a few days ago. This gives me one of each from the 2 banks in Enterprise, AL that issued notes!
Thanks! yah it's nice to still know people at the bank. Although they royally made me mad. I went to the one branch and Allisa said oh hey Joe guess what? I said what? She said I went to the vault to buy some cash about a month ago and I got a new stack of 20s out in the wrapper. I saw the first one was a star that you like and I looked through them and they were all star notes! I said WHAT! AND YOU DIDN'T CALL! I woulda bought the strap for sure! Oh well I didn't have your number. I said 3 people there do you shoulda saved it so I coulda got it! Nope. Grrr...that made me mad. I made sure they tape my phone number to the desk back there now so they'll call if they get good stuff.
