He owns the Encore property but has sold off some of his other purchases such as the Mirage and Wynn Las Vegas and he does have other interests globally but he is far from a house hold name, I really like the note over all its really cool but from a value stand point you would have to really find the right person That would be willing to pay any type of premium.
Never having had a $1000 or $500 I would hold on to it and not sell it. But I believe it has a premium over a similarly conditioned unsigned note. I think in the 80's he was the "face" of an Atlantic City casino. But I don't believe he was the actual owner then, now he probably is that they have sort of de-mobbed Vegas a little.
No pictures But at my local bank, I asked if they any old notes or coins. One said she did. She pulled out some old $20.00s All very fine to very fine + one 1950 and the rest 1950A all from Chicago. Total 7. May take them to my coin club all sell.
Steve in Tampa (Stever) - Great note, hard to believe it changed hands enough to get down to a 30 grade.
I have to agree with you Tech, the 8 and 1's don't count. Thanks for the posts! I'm still hunting for one myself.
Can someone tell me about the German-Austrian note, war?, promissory?, What's left before all goes south?
Can't. The only way would be to edit it down to just a period, before your "edit grace period" has expired.
