Got 1 more new one in the mail today. Probably means that I've been bidding on them a little too often, although, most of the ones that I end up winning are very reasonably priced. Am supposed to get a big batch from Asia soon, perhaps tomorrow. This new one I would have graded, it's in beautiful shape. 50 Pence St. Helena (1976)
THESE TWO HAVE QUITE A BIT OF FEATURES IN UV. What I can't figure out, is what UV item is being depicted under the birds beak. Anyone know? Posted here: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/post-your-notes-under-ultraviolet-light.294884/page-2 It's at the end of the thread.
Nice! I'm just getting into blue seals myself. How much, if you don't mind me asking? I grabbed the set (F1619,1619*,1620,1620*,1621,1621*) in UC off the bay under $50 today and am wondering how well I did. Edit- granted, they aren't graded, and probably not 64, just curious what's a deal and what's not as I'm just getting into paper currency.
These aren't exactly new purchases but a I've never had them on CT before. 1928 $1 SC (Funny back) And my 1957* SC Actually the 57* is about a month old to me, and unlike Techwriter's 57* which looks great I might add, mine did not get the PPQ designation.
