    A nice trio of 1934 a $10's. Minor handling.

1914 $5 Type A, faces up nicely. A speck of green ink on the right that blends in, so no major distraction. The paper is white as snow.

And finally, State of Mississippi $5 from 1870. The reverse is wonderful, minus the cancel mark. I fainted when I saw the price for this non-cancelled series.

I like those Mississippi notes, but am holding out for uncancelled, and those cost, as you note...

Tonights new get is a cheap pickup I got from Brazil, I am still gunning for this not in XF or higher, but a low cost one came into view so I grabbed it. Another ABNCo design, always like blue backs, and a blue back with a plane, I am in, don't see many planes on notes...

Today's new get is a densely packed Georgia obsolete, alot of design elements and ,always a favorite and a bonus, a colored reverse. This note has alot going on here...

Unfortunately, that is just 1oz of bullion. I'll own a St. Gaudens one day, though.

I prefer the original St G's over the ones sold by the mint.
I particularly like the reverse over the newer ones.

Condition wise it looks pretty good to me. The color and pictures all seem to stand out better than my other example does.

Kind of a big purchase for me ~ 1899 $5 Chief. It looks pretty good for the grade, I do not have it in hand yet. I am keeping this one for now, I may up-grade later. ~ :playful: 785956870_o.jpg 785956874_o.jpg

Excellent Chief there, I also got one today, PMG 25 Lyons Treat (been hunting a LONG time for one) but alas, it is WAY down in the new pickups queue, so you all will have to wait...

Today's new get, another obsolete, this one a sharp note with a sharp green overprint... Bank of America single from Rhode Island. Don't know who that dude is but he is rockin' that beard...

The guy on the note is Adnah Sackett, the first President of the bank. He died in 1860. I recently picked up that note myself. I am a new collector and really like this one.

Adnah - now that's a name not generally in use. The beard suits the name. I was going to guess Jedediah, but I can see Adnah. Welcome to the forum!

Today's new pickup is another Obsolete - get used to them folks - a $50 from the Sussex Bank, which includes the earliest known engraving of My Little Pony (tm)...
