Oh Yeah! But also a strange number ZERO on the first follow by Three 111 then after a NINE then another Three 111 plus asterisk* ? 0 111 9 111 * I can say an 911 Note maybe?
anyway this CLEVELAND DISTRICT of Uncut sheet of 4 is selling easily if the price is right.
    My San Francisco district also had a FUNNY NUMBER L 01 85 85 58 *

Here is a note from Bolivia (1928). A nice image of Bolivar.

Hmm... How does one explain the reversed printing of the black plate (the face plate). If it comes off the printing plate onto the paper, should not the text and design read the right way round? Could it be a fake error? They abound!

First off, excuse the horrible picture quality as my camera is being used by a friend so I was limited to my iphone.

Starting the slow process of going through the paper and coin collection my father has passed to me. I've only made it through the first of 6 fire-safe boxes that he gave to me, but I thought I'd post up a couple of items I've found so far.

Ink transfer from the sheet below, is how I've always heard it.

Guys, I have my doubts. That looks too even. Would like to see a good scan of the note, out of the plastic sleeve to make a better judgement. Sorry I'm sounding doubtful but there are so many questionable US currency "errors" out there I'd like to see it a little better before congratulating on the pick up. Also there should be other notes from this sheet out there to confirm this one if the impression is so good, the surrounding notes would have also shown offset, making the error not so uncommon. As I always suggest those who ask if they have an error, get it authenticated by PMG or PCGS, it dispels most all doubt.

Not the best pic because my scanner is down, but just picked this up today in Vegas. Not sure what "Apparent" means, but I liked it.

Look for the stain on the back as noted on the holder under the grade it was given.

Lightened up a little bit... until you get a scan:

Thanks for the info, Krispy. It was my first graded note, so wasn't sure on the different terminology. There is a small stain on the bottom margin on the back. I'll post better pics when/if I get my scanner back to life.

Apparent Grades are given to notes that have some kind of defect such as staining missing corners
Or external and internal tearing stuff like that which effect the over all value this would be
Similar to a coin that has details in the grade.
