Great note, Steve! Love those "twelve" numbers! @mpcusa- Awesome! I'm pretty envious of your collection!
A pair of notes from Belize from one of our favorite British members (moneyer 12). My first notes from Belize:
Nice additions! I quite like the 1000¥ note, especially the surrounding embellishments/patterning around the vignettes.
Wow! For a monochrome note that's stunning! Fantastic rendering too. Nice pick up Dave. Any info on the nautical theme?
Thanks Chris. Bordeaux is a very old port city, so in addition to the region's notoriety for wine, commerce has always been big there. I had only seen the note in a B&W catalog, so I was mildly disappointed to find it is a monochrome note in person. Dave
The designs on this note certainly do both industries a lot of justice. Noticing that on the deck of the ship there is a jug or amphora and on the opposite side wine pours freely from one also. :smile
Dave, great looking note! Clayirving, I wish my example of this note is as nice as yours. Thanks for sharing.
Just picked these up. I'd say the 1934C $50 is in VF+ with the 1950D $10 being F+ to low VF. Still nice for face value!
Great notes everybody. My latest addition to my serial #12 collection. This time I snagged another STAR.
WHOAH!! great example of a low Dallas star! Probably one of the lowest serials i hav ever seen. What was the premium for that serial over the fact that it was graded a 66? Thanks for sharing Steve!
Very Nice Dave ~ Beautiful note even if it is monochrome! Congrats Steve ~ always nice to add a fancy number note! Here is one that arrived last week. If only that last digit was a 5... Still a nice addition to my 1 off collection! I should be getting this note within a couple weeks
