Gonna have to start two different threads for this guys. One for paper and one for coin. As many of you may know I started working part time at the local coin shop. Man am I seeing a lot of stuff! I knew my dealer had a lot of connections but it's unbelievable and only my second day. So today a paper dealer from Missouri stops in. Nothing my boss really wanted but he invited me to look and said I could buy at the other guys price. Talking Greensheet here. Well, I really have to exercise restraint as I need to EARN money NOT spend it. I was a good boy but did drool a bit. Let's see about 15 consecutive 1963A CH/GEM CU red seal $2 star notes. Stacks of 1923 "horseblankets", Black Eagles and even a nice Woodchpper. A bunch of 1928 red seal singles. (Those almost did me in - circulated but cheap). Funnybacks, a smattering of nice 5 and 10 Silver Certificates. A nice pile of Confederate notes and finally for RickieB. At least 75 fractionals. Oh yeah, and this was after a bunch of HAWAII overprint and Nationals. I looked, chatted with the guy for a while then went in back and smacked myself in the head with a hammer a few times to settle down. Now this is only day two at the shop so I know I'll see more. I MUST exercise restraint. I need the money in my pocket NOT the safe. OK breath clembo breath. Just had to share it with you guys. Gonna be real interesting! clembo
