We were at the show all 3 days, my overall opinion is WOW or OMG.... The show had less dealers setting up this time than usual, Richmond Coin Club changed their dates to conflict with PAN and several of the dealers that set up at both shows were forced to choose. I look forward to hearing reports from Reeded Edge, Pat & BJ Coins, and anyone else who was at the show.

We donated our time to man the PAN-Auction tables all 3 days. This is a fantastic fundraiser for the club, the first auction raised over $500.

Thursday: The show opens to the public at noon, PAN members can get in an hour early, I bet there were over 100 people waiting in line to get in just before noon. As mentioned above the floor was alive, reminds me of days past when bourse floors consistently were packed. I talked to one of the dealers that has been setting up at this show for decades, he made the statement, "When the doors opened, they just kept pouring in."

Friday: The show opens to the public at 10, PAN members can get in an hour early. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bourse floor just as busy as Thursday. This was our busiest day, the auction closes with the close of the show at 6PM. Last show the last 2 hours of Friday we spent with dealers at our tables helping them with their last minute bids. This show the dealers didn't have that luxury, they were busy right up to the last minute, it was amazing.

Saturday: The show opens to the public at 10, PAN members can get in an hour early. You would think Saturday would be the busiest day, but oddly it was not. I would estimate that over half of the bidders picked up their items, which helps us out with shipping and saves them a few bucks. Several dealers stopped by the table to apologize for not having time to stop by and bid, they were just too busy. A few members dropped off consignments for the next Auction which will be in October.

This photo is from the last PAN show.... I would love to see some photos from this show.
