    I have finally been able to get some Roman Republics in my price range and the first one I am sharing is a denarius from P Laeca.

    Nice. I'm strictly an imperial guy, starting with Antony (though I suppose it technically is a Republican coin, or at least from the era of the triumvirs).

    Nice provoco coin!

    I love this type :)
    It’s a very interesting type illustrating the principle of provocatio, a procedure by which a citizen had the right to appeal to the people against the decision of a magistrate which he considered to represent an abuse of official power.

    Unfortunately my PROVOCO is barely readable....
