In this case while it is slightly heavy (out of tolerance) I would keep it in a 2x2 and mark the weight, as it could be a slightly thicker rolled planchet. But there's no real extra value unless it is very over weight.

RLGluvcoins. Other than seeing expert eye specialists for possible treatment, instead of using several magnifying glasses, why not try an appropriate microscope ??? :pompous:

Also at this point I am literally only going through this to this point to try and get some cash together so I can actually work on my bucket list something on my bucket list just one thing be fine with me so I don't have a whole lot of money to put into it like most collectors would do if I would have started 10 years ago I'd have everything I needed but then I wouldnt have needed a microscope back then... It's a vicious circle I live lol lol

Hi, Gluvcoins. I hope you manage to cope with your sight problems best possible. As for a Microscope, you could put it top of your list of priorities, and cut down on hot dogs and movies, etcetera, and buy one, reasonably priced. Then you would have more fun from your coins, by seeing more details in them. :wideyed:

If your grandson is interested in coin collecting, have him examine them for/with you. Quality time. ;) BTW, welcome to CT.

We have tried, right now I just bought him a puppy, my friends call me the dog whisperer, and I'm trying to guide him in the right direction to train her six months worth of training in 3 months because he has to go back to his mother's when school starts and they have a pitbull that's not even close to being trained and he just went over there for two days and she came back a crazy dog so now we're almost starting over again so I have to get her at least knowing the rules before she goes and stays there because he wants to use her as his emotional support dog when he needs it an when he's at his mother's he definitely needs it also I've raised him so when I go it's going to be absolutely the hardest on him and my old man I'm not sure my children will care one way or the other and may act like it but can't show me when I'm alive I don't care if you cry when I'm dead. But anyway at 9 weeks old she was already almost 20 pounds. she's a lab and border collie mix and he's really good taking care of her so he's got his hands full right now he is mentioned trying to help me. For really smart kid he gets confused on the coins really quickly I think when I get my microscope he might be much bigger help. Thanks for your input though. 9 wks 16lbs in this pic grandson hes 1 41633.jpeg 1.

Thanks I hope I can stick around long enough to figure out these coins LOL if you seen in my past comments I have a lot of money to go through I did get smart enough to start weighing things and breaking them up that way so it didn't seem so overwhelming

I trained several puppies for other people and if their environment is crazy and they aren't consistent and follow through, the dog will simply go with the flow. Good luck.
PS - I found small squares of cheese the best treats for rewards.
