    Hi guys,

Any tips on determining the value of an obsolete banknote? I've got my eyes on this guy:

But I can't find anything out about it with the internet. There ARE known notes in different denominations, but the $0.50 note is not discussed anywhere. Do you think the price is right? I would be comfortable paying $150, but I need some ammo before I send a "let's deal" message.

I can understand why you are so interested in this note. Your'e from Ottawa, Ill. It certainly appears to be a very nice looking note, however I'm going to agree with you that it's a bit overpriced at $250.00, but I too have over-paid for some things that I felt very close to and wanted to own badly. If your feeling in the mood to splurge on yourself, than go ahead, we only live once.
