NICE @Ajax ... I am starting to appreciate the Iberian issues. Yours is very nice. I always like the Spanish Lancers form this period. OSCA Spain AR silver denarius 204-154 BC. Ajax, great thread! The curly hair/beard obverse and galloping lancer reverse is so uniquely Iberian, and it's amazing to see the similarity between issues from differing regions. Unfortunately, I'm at work right now and only have access to photos of 1 of my Iberians, an AE, approximately 25mm from Sekobriga or Sekobrices, depending on which Celt-Iberian alphabet you want to go with You asked about information regarding these bad boys, one of the best references that comes to mind is this website, which is in Spanish but you can always invoke Google translate: http://www.tesorillo.com/hispania/ Edit: Wait a minute, this one might be from Bilbilis. This is what happens when i don't have a cross reference handy.
OK, once more into the breach! I did find shots of another circa 150 BC AE, this one definitely from Sekobriga (or Sekobrices).
