I just found my tracking info was updated. It's coming FedEx Smart Post with an expected delivery of Saturday, November 1.

The mint finally got things right. Does anyone here think they can maintain this level of service?

 

i think right now the sales figure should pass over 100,000 set.

 

Ordered yesterday around 4 pm and I just got an email about 20 minutes ago saying my set shipped. That was fast!

 

Yeah, I posteed a thread about the "new US MINT" on the coin chat forum. Totally shocked me when it was shipped two hours after ordering. Same Nov 1 ship date as above.

 

Mine is still processing...Order number 2593xxx at about 12:02pm 10/28...

I ordered my annual Silver Eagle along with it, so maybe that's what's holding up things...

 

I went to the site in the middle of the night Eastern Time and placed my order for a Kennedy silver set, the clad set, several other sets, rolls, proofs, spouse medals, etc., all kinds of goodies. I decided to wait a bit longer on the Kennedy gold half, though. The purchase was absolutely seamless and smooth.

 

Checked my order status on their web site and it is marked as shipped. I did not receive an email from them yet, but did get the UPS text alert saying that it will be delivered by 10:30 am tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

half day 12 hour with 85,670. looks not too strong. maybe due to poor performance of gold and silver these two years.

another note: total sales for first spouses 1/2 ounce gold from 2009 to present. total proof and uncirculated coins were only 55,957 piece sold.
that is quiet a few. 24K gold, .999 fine, which gold are very demand in India and China. what if they know about these rare gold piece. first spouses gold will be shine.

 

Yep, with the way the mint is gouging on this set, all the numismatic value may be going to the mint - this set may be another dud. For only $10 and a lower mintage, the clad set may be more attrative.

 

The clad sets are now Out of Stock on the web site. Maybe people got interested in the silver set and ended up opting for the clad set.

 

Mine ended up getting shipped this morning and I literally had my orders in the first 4 mins oh well. I ended up purchasing 5 more thru my mother last night around midnight cst and those to have also shipped, crazy. Anyway with dealers paying a premium what is everyone going to do with theirs? I'm leaning towards sending them all off to ngc and just gambling? It will be expensive to grade what 40 coins but it would be cool to do a "live" reveal. Anyway this will be an interesting month.

I haven't heard about any firm offers from dealers. What have you experienced?

 

Mine shipped this a.m. and are scheduled to arrive before 10:30 Thursday, at which point I will leave for the Baltimore show.

 

I ordered 1 set for myself. Very easy and smooth with the new site. I also cleaned up my account and updated my password which I think helped. Can't wait to get them!!

My local guy is paying $120 per set cash and he's bought 1000 already, none of mine but he owns a major coin shop in the STL region.
