A big round of applause for the US Mint getting it done right this time .

There will probably still be a few glitches, but this was a great New product release so far.

 

I ordered mine at 1105 CST this morning but its sitting on hold for some reason...

 

I was at work today, so no computer. I started calling the Mint at 12:10 and finally gave up at 1:30 after about 450 phone calls with nothing but a busy signal after I pressed option 1. I called my wife at work and gave her my log on information and she had me 5 sets ordered in 2 minutes.

 

I just ordered mine from my phone. Had no issues. Very smooth transaction.
Anyone know when these are supposed to start being shipped?

Well hopefully mine will ship considering I ordered it a few minutes after it opened... I dont know why its on hold and I cant get ahold of anybody...

 

Second set ordered has shipped ~ USM02593XXX - both orders have tracking numbers on the email from the mint.

As I said earlier, I used the basic $4.95 shipping. I ordered 3 sets individually, all with in the first 5 mins.

 

I also got an email that my order has shipped!!! I'm loving this quick turnaround!!

 

I just got my notice that mine has shipped. Standard shipping too

 

I decided not to 'hover' at 12PM and made my first ordering attempt at 2PM. There was a hang up at the checkout so I figured I'd try again later. At 4PM I once again made an attempt and got the same results........what the hey? Then I figured out what was stalling the procedure. I've got two extensions on my Chrome browser that filter out the guys that want to 'track' you. When I disabled them it was clear sailing. Hope I get my two sets sooner than a month of Sundays.......

*Update 6:45PM* Processing and I paid extra for faster shipping. Go figure.

 

You can log into your US Mint account, and in the upper right hand corner click track an order. It will list all your orders, 2 of my 3 orders say shipped and the last order says processing. The emails are probably running slow.

All 3 have now shipped

I do not see a track order...so I guess it has not been shipped...

 

Just received the second updated email from the company offering to buy. They offered $10 profit per set, so $50 profit total. If I choose not to do it, they send me a thank you gift anyways. Hmmm.... might be taking the gift, since I want the coins anyways!

 

They're on ebay already, anywhere from $149 per set to $850 per 5 sets

 

They are shipping out of Memphis, TN - this may be a new shipper as well. I think that before items were shipped out of Indiana - not shure !

I ordered right at 12. The first account I got the order done on is "processing" while the second one has been shipped. The first acct. goes to a PO Box so that may be the slight holdup in shipping.

Yes, they moved the mailing center closer to the east coast, which I think will be nice. If your order is over $400 you get 2-day shipping automatically for the $4.95 so you don't have to ask for anything faster. At least that's the way it was in the past. There is no delivery date yet so maybe tomorrow it will show and I can see how fast they will get to my house.

One thing I don't like is the "quick checkout" was not there like in the past do you didn't have to enter all your CC info. At least I didn't have that option.

 

Memphis is closer to the east coast than Indy?? Maybe PARTS of the east coast, but not the big parts
