Ordering Thread- 2014 Kennedy Silver Set

Well, I finally got lucky!
and got the order placed successfully as a Guest.
BUT, I did it on a different computer. For some reason my power computer did not work well with the website. When I tried on my old laptop, the whole experience was different, better, and quick. I was afraid to try my login, so I just went with Guest and it was just fine.

I bought 5 sets and paid for next day shipping, even though I doubt they'll arrive tomorrow...

 

I was surprised that it let me put six in my cart and totaled it appropriately.

 

Everything I've ever bought has always been 2-3 days shipping time (once it actually ships)

 

Yeah, I found on a different order that they let you order more than your limit and then they cancel the order. Good luck.

 

I backed it down to five at checkout.

 

Wow never got that kind of delivery service!! I'm on the west coast. I wonder if that makes a difference.

 

I got back from class 20mins before 11. Logged on and placed my order for 5. Now just waiting.

 

I logged in about five minutes before 12:00, navigated to the Kennedy set page, refreshed the page at 12:00 and started my order. The Confirmation step took about two minutes before the process finished and gave me the order number. The confirmation email arrived 42 minutes later. Altogether a painless process.

Took 5 minutes for my order at 12:02, I had a #2 at Burger King.

 

You keep eating that crap and you won’t live long enough to see these Kennedy Sets appreciate.

 

I think a #2 at BK is the Buffalo burger.

 

Check the eBay ads - looks like some are expecting a fast sell out, based on the asking prices.

 

To bad you can't sell out of unlimited mintage items

 

Well, a few days ago, the mint said this product is limited to 300k. However, as usual, they did leave the door open on the mintage. Will they offer any of these coins in a different set? Yes, if they think they can make a profit, even though it p's off their customers. They act like they're a monopoly - oh yeah, they are.

 

So, any guesstimates on how long it will take to sell out this product? I guess, if not today, within a week.

 

I just got an email from the US Mint, my order has shipped Fed Ex. I ordered at 12:02 ~ USM02592XXX - I just used the $4.95 basic shipping.
