Opions on this Trade Please.

Im working on a trade with a guy I know and would like to get some advice please. I have a 1923 Peace Dollar in avg. circulation. He has an 1863 Union Token.
I dont have a pic of the rev.

I sure would trade an average Peace dollar for it. Very interesting token. There are token guys on here, though, and would wait for their opinions.

 

Sounds like a fair trade.

BTW this is most commonly referred to as the "Our Union" token

Back on topic, I love the token. Only seen a few, seen/own plenty of common date peace dollars. Treat the verdigris when in hand though.

 

As it turns out this guy is trying to rip me off. He sent me this pic. and while I was looking on ebay to get an Ideal of what I was trading for I found the same pic there and it has 9 bids on it.

 

Politely ask him to remove the listing if at all serious about trading you.

 

Maybe they're fakes and he has more than one of them.

 

I think I would do the trade, considering rarity to rarity.
