Also, their picture is nearly twice as large as your picture. And I am talking about the coin itself, not the background (slab or your black).

True, you are right. Some of us can't grade, most of us can, but need some work, and some of us are pro's. To me, that doesn't have any effect on this situation. Most of us are here to learn, and where we can't learn it all, we can atleast try to learn what we can. The coin could be MS, it could be G for that matter, the matter is you sold RLM a coin not describled correctly. There could be wear, there could be no wear, all we have to go by are pictures. But the thing is RLM fulfilled his part of the transaction, you didn't in my eyes. So since you didn't deliver him what you should've, I think he either deserves another coin like you described, or his full money back, no restock fee. JMO, and if anyone thinks I'm wrong in anything, please point it out to me.

I dont think weather or not someone can grade a coin is the problem. Its sellers who purposely post pics of coins at a distance. And then sit there and describe how great this coin is, Or add the following........, PL< MS <AU whatever the case may be. And then since you CANT see the coin the sellers start to add all the HYPE that typically goes along with a poorly take pictures. Take a close enough pic of the coin and that will speak for itself, not the garbage DESCRIPTION that usually goes with it. Most people will second guess a coin that they cant see ( not a close up ) but then after reading the sellers terms, they figure "well what the hell do I have to loose. Look at his feedback its not too bad." Well I would have great feedback too if I sold 1000 items a months, but in the end NEGATIVE FEEDBACK is still NEGATIVE FEEDBACK

    2 out of thousands?
    2 out of thousands?

    what?

You have received 2 more negs and a neutral since the last thread about your coins, 5 weeks and 162 feedbacks ago.

We didn't jump on any bandwagon, and gave you the benifit of the doubt the first time. This time was blind. This was the second time you have ripped a member here, blamed others, sent foul emails, accept zero responsibility yourself and attempted to scam 10% out of the deal.

This time around it was as impartial as it gets. I get no joy or kick out of these negative posts/threads, but I will tell you my honest opinion every time, whether it be a great seller who really goes the distance, or a shyster who runs scams on the bay......

When you rip a member here or a friend of mine, it then gets personal.

Typical E Bay fiasco. I believe in buyer beware in most cases, but I do think the wording in the auction was deceptive, and thats puting it nicely. Instead of saying "Grades MS 63 RB" like it was actually properly graded, the seller should have said it was their opinion of the grade, and not make it out to be a factual certainty. If grade is an opinion, he needs to state that, because thats obviously not a close grading according to 99% of us here. But, maybe we're all wrong and he's the world's formost coin grader.

I could tell from his pictures that the coin was not a 63. I would have been quite happy (at least relatively speaking) even if the coin were 60. My problem was that the coin had been cleaned. That is why I am returning the coin.

It is about time we had something a little less serious in this thread. Thanks Jack.

OK guys - enough. You all have made your points and counterpoints several times over. This is done.
