Primary use for me is coin examination for die varieties, die errors, etc.The coin photography is a sideline for me.As for what the ANA guy said, hey,  my favorite magnifier is a Hasting 7x I've carried for more than 40 years.  I do have a Doublet 16x but don't use it a whole lot.  My 4-year granddaughter uses it a lot however.[/QUOTE]
