Opinions on these two Lincolns

    What do you think of these two Lincolns I found while digging through my collection?

    On a side note, the black stuff on the back of the 1917 is gunk. I think it will come off with an acetone soak.

    Also, the 30-D looks better in hand.

    They're brown and look pretty normal to me.

    That 17 looks like it's got some woody action on the obv. Plus, there might be a little lamination going on on the rev. Nice coins!

    Use a dark gray/black non-reflective background when you take your images and you'll find that your coins will look more like they look in hand.

    Both VF 25, look OK.
