Opinions on the grade of this Peace dollar

Wasn't sure if I should start a new post or not. I received the coin back from ANACS today. Even got one of the new slabs. They graded the 23-D VAM 1o Peace dollar at MS63.

hmmm, I guess it was the photo. That hardly resembles the original images!

 

I agree. When I went to post the slabbed image, the original photos were gone. I had removed them a few weeks ago to keep to the space limit set by my ISP. I restored them to show the difference in images. The original images are taken with a digital camera in a hotel room. The slabbed image is a 2400 DPI scan.

 

Hey Nesvt.......can you post a photo of the slab that the damaged coin came back in.....I can't seem to find a photo of what they look like....

Certainly. I think it's the old holder with a new label.

 

well, at least they are still listing the damage, instead of using the slab style to note damage. I can live with it this way.
