Note the reverse strike on left of coin has reversed letters. "America" is stamped backward. 3rd strike possibly above date "e pluribus unum" is backward. Does this look like mint errors? Appreciate your input. (Typo...1973 not 1970)
Because the lettering is inverted (backwards) it is most likely a vise or squeeze job, squeezing two coins together. Not a mint error, just someone having a little play time.
What? You've never made a mistake before? What about your "AU56" comment in another thread? Why didn't you tell him how he could correct his title? By the way @Nolan Workman , you're correct! Either epoxy or glue was used to stick two coins together. The telltale sign that it was not a vise or hammer job is the fact that there is no damage to the rim where the two coins would intersect. This. Edit- just saw the "glue" comments. Dunno. Maybe. Kind of odd to realize we're not looking at the coin, but a picture of a picture of the coin on a computer monitor.
