Opening an air-tite. Any tricks?

    I use this knife. The straight edge fits perfect, then pry.

    Man I had to use a pair of side cuts on a direct fit the other day. I could not get it opened for nothing. So out came the side cuts.unplated cent OK air tight destroyed!!!

    I use a really sharp knife that ideally has a pretty big wedge in the blade, so that it separates the air-tite as the knife goes further in. Just be really careful to not cut yourself.

    So, riddle me this, how would one pop an air-tite on an airliner? Hand it over to TSA? Ply it with scotch? Pass it off to the baggage handlers?
