I actually meant the Northeast and Alabama is in the South. My point being costs are different depending on where you are in the country that results in lower or higher costs. Many coin shows charge a fee and there is also additional costs to attend these like transportation. So even if you could find this in a cull box for 50 cents a piece which I don't agree that is where it belongs, you would not be paying 50 cents in total. It is pretty easy to agree with one person and sell slabbed coins for their market value but with raw coins on Ebay with bad pics it sometimes difficult to determine their value and what issues they may have. That is why I have to agree that given the pics making a correct evaluation is difficult, which may cause people to skip over it. The obverse pic has glare from the cell phone used to take the picture and is on its side. I am not saying that the coin is not polished up or was used as jewelry which very may be true but by this pic, it is difficult to say. Doesn't really matter though, I emailed the seller twice since Friday about an issue with their Paypal and they haven't contacted me so I will not be buying it anyway. If the seller posted good pics, they may or may not have gotten more bids but it definitely appears they are not experienced selling on Ebay but do see they purchased many items. I am going to a B&M coin shop tomorrow with good prices and see what a coin with these details would cost.
