I don't need to be called out on anything on my polished up, damaged coin that is a cull that goes for 50 cents in Alabama. It looks good to me. The purpose of the thread was to talk about coins not bid on which makes you wonder nobody bid. Since I no longer want to be

"called out" I just put you on ignore. I will post any polished up, cull coin that I made a mistake on. It was a dollar, has nice detail, and looks good to me. People can solicit their opinoins but I always tend to listen to those that seem most knowledgable. I can't even tell what is up with the coin since the pic is some wierd cell pic. The seller is having Paypal issues though and if my payment doesn't go through I am going to cancel. I could see though that this coin is 50 cents in Alabama, but more on the East Coast which is another discussion. Coin prices in different parts of the country. A table at my small local coin show is $80 and rents tend to be high in the areas where coin shops are located since they also include jewelry and PM. I do see how this coin though would have been used in some sort of jewelry maybe that explains the lack of lines but that glossiness. Of course it could be the pic as someone mentioned that gives it the appearance of being polished. Of course I could present the ugliest turd of a coin and someone would say it was altered like someone purposely made it look like that.
