If I'd have to "blame" you for ANY shortcoming, Doug, it would be stubbornly living in the past, and obsessing over how much better things used to be. I agree that things have changed and still continue to do so, but I think at least some of it is improvement. I'll add this - only twice have I thoroughly disagreed with a NGC or PCGS beyond the "hmm, okay, I guess" level, and both times my initial opinion was verified by resubmitting the coin. Once, they moved their grade to what mine initially was, and in the other, it became one of those "hmm, okay, I guess" jobs. BTW, that applies to coins I own. I will admit that looking at Heritage and S/B coins "in the hand" in lot-viewing rooms, does reduce that feeling somewhat. There ARE times when my medical condition temporarily monkeys with my eyesight, and occasionally that happens on a coin trip. When it does, I change my expectations of what I can get done, until it clears up. The upside of those times is I can drive without my glasses then, so I have some fun that way. If you're ever at an ANA show and nobody with ANA knows where Bellman is, I'm out taking pictures.[/QUOTE]
