One fugly dime

    Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

    I found this little "beauty" searching through pocket change, my pocket, not someone else's. It looks like this was struck through just about everything they could find. I call this one my Frankenstein Dime.

    No, just a worn out die. You will get better images if you take it out of the holder.

    They sure do get their money worth out of dime dies. 2016 and 17 dimes everyone I got in change had die cracks, orange peel, die chips... I venture to say a MS 69 are few and far between.

    Thanks guys. I like to think I learn something new here regularly with info like this. I also have some 15's and 16's that look worse than this.
