    I've simply given up doing much of anything on ebay with coins. it's just too dangerous.

    The auction is gone--I wanted to look at the other two again.

    I have a friend that sells on eBay--mostly Lincolns in BU rolls. He mailed me some coins to look at because he thought they looked funny. Of course I can't find them right now, but one was a fairly common date circulated wheat cent--and totally counterfeit. Given that you could buy that coin out of the 10 cent basket at a coin show, I always wondered what the point was to bother to counterfeit it.
