Oldish looking coin with a date in a different language.

    image.jpg image.jpg I found this coin in a world foreign coin bag and I can’t tell what the date is. If anyone can read this language please help me find the date and where it is from.

    Its an Ethiopian coin featuring Halle Selasse, its either a
    1, 5, 10, 25, or 50 santim (cent)

    Yes - appears to be Ethiopia 25 cents, KM# 36. I can't read the writing but they appear to be a single issue dated 1936 on their calendar, which corresponds to 1943/4 on the Western calendar. A note underneath says issued in 1952 and 1953.
    Value sadly very little, even if it were in better grade.
