Yes, I just read about its first year, 1909. So why is there a 1907 coin, or should I just not ask?

Learning new things everyday. Why do folks put fake stuff on a website like Coin Talk?

Even the VDB part is incorrect. Looks like V.P.P. China my guess.

Check your coin book on the Lincoln cents. They remove that after the 1909 year, but later added it back in 1918, but on the OBV side under Lincoln's shoulder. Look at any "Red Book" and you will see the information.

Ok, well I haven't gotten far enough into the hobby to purchase any books. Is it called "The Red Book" in the title?

The Yeoman Red Book is all you need to say to get one anywhere.

It depends upon your age and eyesight, but, you can get it in spiral bound and large print like I do.

At 61, I'm not too far from you! Yes, I've found with this new hobby, I need my phone flashlight, as well as a magnifier.
Thanks to Collecting Nut for the book's official name.

That's funny, I just purchased the Yeomans Red and Blue book from Amazon, and I was looking at their magnifying glass, but decided not to purchase it. Thanks for the tip and website. I'll look now.
