Oldest Wheat Cent you've found in circulation

    My 1903 Indian Head is in better shape, but yours is so much older. Wonder what it is worth?

    It has a shiny hue to it. I’ll take a better pic.




    Was just take a pic of the 1859. And notice it’s a lot thicker the all of my other??!

    ‘59 on the left and 1900 on the right

    Just went out metal detecting found a 1920 wheat cent.

    Wow. I was thinking about doing the metal detector thing. Where do you go to hunt? What's a good brand for a metal detector?

    The IH's minted 1859 to 1864 were made of Copper Nickel and are much thicker. Those from 1864 on were bronze and somewhat thinner.
