Found this old silver dime in a roll today. It was destined for one of the cash drawers.
This was a working coin in its time , fun to find they are still out there.

one could only guess the stories it could tell. This dime has been around the block a few times and back.

If it was a Barber or even a Mercury you could call it old. Roosevelts are current.

    Nice in the wild find.

Sometime around 2004-2005 I was selling some stuff at a flea market
and happen to have a few coins on the table and this young 6-10 yr old kid walks up
started looking through them and says "I have a wicked old half dollar at home" to which I reply what year is it, He says "1986" yes 1986 because I had to ask to make sure I heard him right.
The look on my face must have been priceless though.

1986? That was back in the dark ages before dirt was invented, right? :D

I think so I graduated HS in 85 can't quite remember if we had dirt here or not.
To this day I'm still befuddled, and wondering what he thought about the Walkers & Franklins he was looking at.
