I'm glad to see both arrived safe and sound ... gives me hope for a lost coin from Germany despatched in mid December.
Don't worry, my package to Slovakia just got delivered this week, shipped in early December. I think I read something about Germany especially having problems with mailing, but maybe i am mistaken.
Yes this one was from Germany, so you should hopefully get yours soon.
It was like hoping santa clause was real...i had just about lost hope. Happy now.
It took 10 months for my package. This was 2019-20. I'm waiting on
one from Germany mailed mid November.
Germany and COVID 19 and so few flights, that the German postal service
filled several containers and was shipping by cargo ship. I hope my package
gets here before July.
Salonina (253-268), Antoninianus, Colonia mint.
Obverse: SALONINA AVG, diademed and draped bust right, seen from the front, wearing stephane and resting on a crescent;
Reverse: DEAE SE-GETIAE, statue of Segetia, nimbate, standing facing in four-columned temple, both hands raised;
I've had to wait up to a couple of months for some packages to arrive, but luckily none of them has been lost, so far.
It wasn't a coin just something for train layout.
Edit: i just recieved a email from auction house. I have to bank wire the money to the Netherlands. I wonder what thats going to cost? They wont just let me pay another invoice with a bank card like orignal transaction.
Use Transferwise (now wise.com). Cheap and easy for wiring money to Europe.
Thanks...I appreciate the info!
Even better, if you use this link you get a free transfer and I get a wee bonus.
