That would be my advice. I would insure them for no less than $250 each, as I believe they are probably worth in the $300 - $600 range. Maybe more depending on condition. If you list them on eBay after they are certified I may even bid. PS - NGC will image your coins for a nominal fee and the photos can be used here and on eBay. Consider doing it, as the photos are better than most people can achieve at home. And the price is right!
Toolsinbox, Looks like you have a nice surprise to deal with. I would suggest you post photos here before you go through the expense of getting them third party graded/certified by NGC or PCGS. We may be able to provide some guidance and/or feedback as to which of them would gain value by having them 3rd party graded. I myself, am very interested in seeing them. I have done a lot of research on the this type coin; having taken 3-4 years to find "the right" coin for my collection. The coin referenced by kangayou.
