I'll share one story...

I married my ex-wife after only knowing her about 1 week. She was an expensive mistake.

 

As a young teenager, a friend and myself slipped his 16 gauge shotgun out of the house and bought a few shells (yes, the sporting goods store in my town would sell single shells) and took off for the hills (literally). After shooting a few times, his younger brother who tagged along wanted to shoot it and we were cautioning him and showing him how to hug the gun to his shoulder when he grabbed it, hoisted it up and fired with it close to, but not on his shoulder. Wow...black and blue, but no permanent damage.
