Hello my friends...It has been a while. So...I came across a good size lot of old colonial coins and cobs and some are in amazing condition and I was told rare as well. I have spent HOURS researching but I have not been able to find too much out. I have a big lot so I am gonna post a few coins every couple of days. I have included pics of 4 different coins this time. I will do some more within the next 2 days or so. 001.JPG 002.JPG 003.JPG 004.JPG 005.JPG 006.JPG 007.JPG 008.JPG 009.JPG 002.JPG 003.JPG 004.JPG 005.JPG 006.JPG 007.JPG 009.JPG I am HOPING that some of you experts can give me ANY info, grade, rarity and possible value or even best guess is great.
ANY info would be a HUGE help and I will be greatly appreciated.....THX ALL

    Potosi Bolivia
I can see a P the SVL and other letters that I cant read one one side
looks like a 91 on the bottom of one side, also one that side I see 2 pillars and a few wavy lines. The other side shows a P and an 8 also the seal with the 2 lions and 2 castle looking things and what looks to be a 77 at the bottom.....I've checked everywhere....cant find much but it could be valuable. I really hope somebody know the cob.
    Thx a lot sir!

that cob coin sure looks like a Bolivia 8 reales. I am only guessing at the KM#R31a or KM#R26 I have no I idea what the date is though. your coin could be worth if it is a VG grade $800.00-1,200. not sure what your coins date is though... you find out what date it is and I will look it up in my catalog for its information. good luck.

The cob, if it is genuine, would be a Potosi 8 reales minted 1677. Value would be $150-$200.

Yeah it looks like 91, except it's really 16 because of the way the legends were minted on that coin. And you can't see the 77 that comes after it.

    Another example -
