I remember you’ve made and broke same promise last year.

Just out of curiosity – what’s the reason for making statements/promises like that? Has somebody insisted you stop spending money till the end on the year? It reminds me a recent episode on Dr. Phil show.

I usually set a $$ limit to spend on the collection and I went way over board..so I made that statement to remind myself...when a Dealer friend called me and told me what he had...the temptation was just to strong for me.

I deserve your post and feel like I let myself down a little...but this was a one time offer...

I am human, I am weak.. I should not make self promises like this any more.

i secretly visited his profile i wanted to see if there was a way to see the last time his visited the forum. It shows the last time he made a post, but i wanted to see if he had secretly visited the site lol couldnt find anything .... oh-well.

 

Nobody see's the red in the lower right hand corner of the vignette. I did my best to outline where I see the red.

The vignette off "Columbus in sight of Land" that you are refering to that I posted was not RickieBs Newest Note ,it came from another note that Rickie sent out on "Columbus Day",I think that vignette was used in several different issues of US currency's.
I was commenting that I liked the vignette not that it came from his new note.
